Freezin' Friesian is a Waterford based artisan ice cream company, located at Ballyhussa Farm, Kilmacthomas. The farm is situated between the picturesque Comeragh Mountains and the scenic Copper Coast just outside the village of Kilmacthomas in the heart of the county. Inspired and created by three brothers David, Ivan and Tom Kiersey, Freezin' Friesian produces artisan ice cream utilising their own family recipe and milk from their Friesian herd.

Since 1780, Ballyhussa Farm has been producing high quality milk for distribution using traditional methods. In more recent years, however, with an eye to the future, the family has moved to a robotic voluntary milking system (VMS) in order to maximise yield and efficiency whilst simultaneously improving the quality of life of their pedigree Friesian herd. With these core values in mind, Freezin' Friesian aims to share their passion for food and friesians by dishing up traditional ice cream, with a modern twist.
